CLSI has in depth experience in the planning, design, and permitting of a variety of civil engineering projects. This includes site development for residential, institutional, industrial commercial and municipal projects, as well as linear utility projects.

Having worked in many of the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan counties and southern PA, we are familiar with local jurisdictions, the review and approval processes as well as Federal, and State regulations and ordinances all which impact projects. This is a benefit to our clients because it saves both time and money. CLSI designs and plans projects that can be implemented without surprises and which conform to environmental regulations.

CLSI is experienced in considering each of these issues, and their permit and approval requirements in the planning design of projects. We are also experienced in reviewing environmental impacts early to avoid problems in the construction phase. We have designed several innovative facilities which meet or exceed current regulations and are cost effective, such as, sand filter, stormwater management facilities, porous paving and shallow marsh facilities.  CLSI also has experience in FEMA floodplain amendments.
